About Mrs. Hann

Welcome to the 2017-18 school year. My name is Christy Hann. This year I am excited to be part of the Project Lead the Way Launch team in Anchor Bay School District. In addition to teaching the K-5th PLTW STEM program, I will continue to teach technology. This year I am teaching at Great Oaks Elementary and Ashley Elementary. I have been teaching in Anchor Bay since 1998. The majority of my teaching career has been teaching technology to elementary students. You can always reach me by email with any of your technology questions or concerns. My email is chann@abs.misd.net.
I hold a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Economics and Management from Albion College. In addition, I have earned a Master of Arts in Teaching Degree and a Master of Science Degree in Integrating Technology Into the Classroom. I am a member of MACUL, Michigan Association of Computer Users and Learners. I am also certified as a PLTW Launch Lead Teacher.
I am married and have three children. My two girls are in high school and my son will be starting middle school. It is amazing how quickly they are all growing up. In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my family, boating, cooking, and believe it or not, using my computer. I love working with computers and children. I love learning new things each and every day. I hope to instill these interests in my students while helping them reach their full potential.
